"We have back the Tim we know and love"
"I am a lifelong friend of Tim, my closest and dearest friend.
It was such a shock when we knew he had collapsed as a result of a brain tumour and had to undergo major brain surgery.
His recovery was not only challenging for Tim, but those close to him, we had to accept the unusual mood swings and uncharacteristic behaviour.
I am so pleased to see that through sheer grit and determination and the love of Kashmir and his close friends he has pulled through and we have back the Tim we know and love."

"An inspiration to others in need of hope"
"Tim has been a friend for many years, we have built up a strong bond and trust in our relationship.
His wife Kashmir told me of the news that Tim had collapsed in the street and was rushed to hospital then later diagnosed with a brain tumour. It was truly unbelievable and very shocking news.
I sent him my best wishes when he had to go into hospital for his brain surgery and there was a sense of relief to know that he had survived that and would be returning home to recuperate.
I am very well aware of all the difficulties he suffered from with the adverse effects of his medication, which changed his personality, made him ill-tempered, and how all of this affected his relationship with Kashmir and how much support they needed to get through this very challenging time for them.
It is a true testament to his courage and the support of Kashmir that he has come through all this and wants his book to be an inspiration to others in need of hope."

"A true testament of Tim's strength of character and determination to get well"
"Tim and I have golf in common and have built up a strong bond and friendship over many years.
I was playing golf with Tim that fateful day. He was his usual cheerful self during the day and entertaining at our dinner. After a fantastic evening and having said our goodbyes I later learned that Tim had collapsed after going home that night. I was so shocked to hear what had transpired that evening after we parted company.
Fortunately he was rescued by a guardian angel and amazingly he kept us all informed on how he was doing before and after his surgery with regular email updates. I visited him at his home whilst he was recuperating. I was there for him through the very challenging period of his recovery and relieved to see him recover to regain his true self after an extremely testing period in his life.
What a huge relief for us all and a true testament of Tim’s strength of character and determination to get well. He is truly an inspiration to us all and particularly those who are unfortunate enough to have to face life threatening illnesses."

"A source of inspiration and hope for others"
"Tim and I have built a very caring and loving friendship over the years we have known each other.
It was a huge shock to me when I heard that Tim had collapsed and was in hospital dealing with the fact that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. It must have been truly frightening for him, I was certainly very frightened myself.
I was with Tim on the day he went into hospital for his operation, I was shocked to see how scared and frightened he was. I supported Tim in the days after his operation by going to see him in hospital, taking food and snacks to keep him nourished and spending time chatting to him to help lift his spirits.
I saw him throughout his very difficult year in 2019, when his medication was causing him serious side effects, personality changes and I felt really concerned for his relationship with Kashmir. They had survived the operation, but the medication was really the villain by making him worse when it was supposed to make him better. Thankfully by 2020 with further changes of medication Tim was finally returning to his normal self again.
The writing of this book has been a cathartic process for Tim and a source of inspiration and hope for others."
